Warehouse Operator

Our client:
Our client is one of the industry's most dynamic global drinks businesses who specialise in developing distinctive, premium local brands, with a portfolio that is led by a range of high quality Scotch whiskies and includes some of the fastest growing and most prestigious beers, spirits and whiskies.

The role:
- Effectively operate various items of process equipment (filler/capper/cork & capsuler/labeller/case erector etc.) and carry out all other general packaging duties as required.
- Effectively carry out changeovers and routine maintenance to ensure the packaging process meets business objectives
- Operate as part of a close knit team in a Total Quality environment to ensure that finished goods meet required parameters of quality and specification.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulatory requirements
- Effectively complete process records/stock sheets and any other required documentation.

Skills required:
₋ Previous experience in a distillery or similar warehouse/factory environment would be beneficial
₋ Be physically fit & strong as this role is very physically demanding and includes a lot of manual handling.
₋ Able to follow instructions and comply with procedures/policies in place
₋ Good work ethic

Hours:
- 7am - 7pm = 78 hours across 2 weeks
- Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Sat and Sun
- Week 2 - Wed, Thurs, Fri

Salary:
₋ £10.50 per hour, increased to £11.24 after 12 weeks
