Job Description:
Electrical Field Based Service Engineer
Andover, working across the UK.
Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
£30,000 rising to £35,000 upon completion of probationary period.
Rotation working pattern across the UK of 10 days on and 4 days off shift.
A company vehicle, fuel card and mobile phone will be provided.

I am recruiting for 3 Operation Technicians to join our Client based in Andover.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated with flexibility to commit to the required working shift patterns and areas required to cover within this position.

You will be required to work across the UK working on a 10 days on rota with 4 days off.

You will be responsible for the accurate maintenance of mobile plant equipment.

The Person
* Electrical Biased Engineer, having served a recognised apprenticeship or other formal training, maturity, organised, able to undertake design and repair of high speed rotating equipment electrical systems.
* NICEIC 17th Edition qualified.
* Familiar with industrial installation and control systems.
* Living within commuting distance of Andover.
* Familiar with PLC/Micro Processor control systems and Star/Delta or Inverter motor drive techniques up to 150 Kw.
* Process Experience, currently or has worked in the water/waste water or process/manufacturing industry.
* Flexible, must be willing to work the hours required of a service engineer.
* Customer Focused, must be able to communicate at all levels and gain the trust and respect of customers.
* Computer and General Literacy must be able to compile service and visit reports and be able to use MS Word, Outlook and Excel software.
* Driving Licence, must have clean full driving licence.

The Role
* To design, build, install and maintain electrical control panels to meet our requirements and also meet current electrical installation regulations.
* To undertake and document the statutory Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) for our fleet of mobile processing units.
* To undertake and document the statutory Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) of our workshop and office equipment.
* To Install, Operate and Maintain our range of Mobile Processing Equipment.
* Undertake service contracts of customers own installed plant.
* To undertake mechanical breakdowns and workshop repairs when required.
* Extensive Travel, mostly UK but occasional overseas work.
* Undertake servicing and installation of equipment workshop.
* Assist sales department with customer visits.
* Supervise and train subcontract labour.
* Compile Risk Assessments and Method Statements prior to undertaking service work.
* Call out rota and some weekend working required.

There is overtime available for any hours worked over the standard hours required to work.

Full training will be provided, but a mechanical background and/or experience of working in the waste water industry would be an advantage.
