Gi Group are currently recruiting for the following position based in Runcorn.

Production Operative

Pay Rate - £12.75 per hr once all training is completed
£11.13 Training rate

Shifts - Rotating - 5:30am - 1:30pm & 2pm - 10pm

Main Duites:

Operate safely within the production team, to ensure that the production plan is met on time, to the defined cost, quality, hygiene and enviromental standards.

Responsibilities:

To follow health and safety process and procedures to ensure all staff are safe in the working environment.

Operate processes and machinery.

Lift and stack raw material and products in compliance with manual handling and mechanical handling.

Report all safety incidents, damages and near misses immediately.

Ensure equipment and production areas are kept clean and tidy to expected standards.

Carry out quality assurance checks

Personal Requirements:

Good Time Keeping & attendance, Ability to work diligently and accurately under minimal supervision.
Correct wearing of PPE within the business.
Enthusiastic and flexible approach to working environment.
Physically fit and healthy.
Proactive and good team worker

Experience:

Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry is an advantage.
Forklift truck license (reach) would be an advantage - but training will be provided.
Food Hygiene certificate would be an advantage - but training will be provided.
