Production Operative:

Gi Group are recruiting flexible and reliable food production operatives to join our small, close knit and friendly on-site team at Dorset Foods in Shaftesbury on a temporary on-going basis.

Gi Group can offer a KEY WORKER position following successful induction, candidates will need to have a good level of English and be keen to learn. Previous food experience is an advantage but not essential as training will be given. For the right candidate there are opportunities to progress into a permanent full time role with our client.


You will be required to:

To be on your feet for 7+ hours a day
PPE must always be worn (will be provided)
Be able to work as part of a team but also use own initiative
Be reliable and time efficient
Be focused with a proactive attitude
Be 18 or over
Work in a chilled environment
Own transport advised

Possible shifts are (depending on availability)

06:00-14:00
06:00-18:00
14:00-22:00
10:00-18:00
10:00-22:00

The rate of pay begins at £8.72 per hour raising to £8.89 per hour after 12 weeks service.
The Overtime rate starts at £13.08 per hour raising to £13.34 per hour after 12 weeks service.
