Job Description:
GI Group are working very closely with Aston Martin to find experienced Paint Prepper-Polishers for the production suite in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

This will be working on a weekend night shift working either Thurs, Fri, Sat night OR Fri, Sat, Sun night, both shifts doing 19:00 to 07:00 (36 hours) on £12.83 per hour with a generous shift allowance.

**THIS IS FOR AN IMMEDIATE START**

The role will be for an initial 5 months to support with the production up until end of 2018.

Job Purpose:

To improve the finished painted surface appearance through the use of various sanding media and tools and complete the masking of engine bays. A small level of paint rectification through Denib and rectify is also required.

Key responsibilities:
Safety:
* Conduct First Line Maintenance activities relevant to PPE, and workstation equipment.
* Carry out daily work routines in a safe manner following relevant QPS & WES detail.
* Complete Near Miss reporting through Team Leaders.
Quality:
* Daily maintenance of the relevant work station Quality Q defect tracker ensuring defect containment and corrective actions are up to date and being followed.
* Carry out daily work routine in a standardised method following relevant QPS & WES detail.
* Utilise "Andon" mechanism to rectify defects within the workstation to prevent shipping faults forward.
* Participation in group work RCA activities.
* Participate in end of line quality reviews as required.
Delivery:
* Carry out daily work routines in cycle time following relevant QPS & WES detail.
* Provide feedback to Lead Technicians regarding any incoming issues that negatively impact on delivery.
Cost:
* Carry out daily work routines using consumables in the quantities detailed in the relevant QPS & WES.
* Complete daily work routine in a standardised method following relevant QPS & WES detail to prevent scrap generation.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous, relevant experience in a similar role.
