Role Purpose
Complete safe, efficient deliveries to Asda stores and petrol stations across the region, while maintaining high driving standards, accurate compliance records and a professional presence at every delivery point.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete 1 to 3 deliveries per shift using pallets and cages
- Drive Class 1 vehicles as the main part of the role, with occasional Class 2 work paid at Class 1 rates
- Carry out thorough vehicle checks before and after shift
- Maintain accurate digital tachograph and compliance records
- Arrive at store bays safely, on time and ready to represent the brand professionally
- Work in line with site procedures, road safety standards and delivery expectations at all times
Shift Options
Shifts are available 7 days a week to support this busy retail operation. Start windows include:
- Day Shift: 06:00 to 14:00
- Back Shift: 14:00 to 22:00
- Night Shift: 22:00 to 06:00
- Minimum paid: 8 hours guaranteed per shift
- Overtime: Paid after 45 hours
Requirements
- Valid Cat C+E licence held for a minimum of 6 months
- At least 6 months of active Class 1 driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards
- Maximum 6 minor points only
- No DR, IN or DD endorsements
- Weekend availability is essential as part of this 24-hour, 7-day operation
