Where You’ll Be Working

Our client leads the UK in delivering essential energy services, from electricity transmission and electric vehicle infrastructure to home decarbonisation. In their metering division you will support suppliers such as EON, OVO and EDF with dual fuel smart meter installations and maintenance.

Smart Meter Engineer in the field

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installing gas and electric smart meters
  • Investigating meters not communicating and restoring service
  • Managing emergency call-outs and planned maintenance
  • Explaining meter functions and safety to customers
  • Attending regular training to keep skills up to date

What You’ll Bring

  • Valid UK driving licence held for at least one year with no more than six penalty points
  • CCN1, CMA1, CMA3 or NVQ Level 2 in smart metering
  • Experience installing gas and electric smart meters
  • MOCOPA field service experience
  • Bonus skills: REGT1, three phase or CT metering
