Job Title: Industrial Cleaner (Site Presentation Operative)

Location: Aldridge, Walsall

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (flexible start/finish between 6:00am-3:00pm)

Start date: 14 September 2026

Contract: Long-term opportunity for the right candidate

The Role

We're recruiting an Industrial Cleaner to support the overall presentation and cleanliness of a busy site in Aldridge, Walsall. This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll be working both indoors and outdoors, helping to keep the site clean, tidy and well presented at all times.

Key Duties

• Operating a commercial ride-on floor sweeper to keep internal floors free from debris
• Wiping down machinery and work areas to maintain cleanliness standards
• Emptying bins and removing waste from site
• Sweeping paths and external areas
• Weeding and general outdoor tidying
• Supporting the overall "total presentation" of the site (keeping it looking its best)

What We're Looking For

• Previous industrial cleaning experience is beneficial
• Experience using a ride-on floor sweeper is strongly preferred
• Forklift licence would be an advantage, but not essential
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions as well as inside
• Able to work on own initiative, managing tasks independently and maintaining high standards without constant supervision
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work to a consistent standard
