Transport Specialist Admin Clerk
Location: Banbury, OX16
Pay rate:
£13.40 before 1st of August 2026
£14.29 after 1st of August 2026
Shift pattern:
Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group at one of our sites as a Transport Specialist Admin Clerk to work for a well-known Logistics company, based in Banbury.
Transport Specialist Admin Clerk responsibilities:
* To provide accurate and timely data and reports as required by the business or customer.
* Supporting the Supervisor and Planner in executing daily administrational duties and simple operational requests.
*Opportunity to learn the basics of a Transport operation and gain the base for a career in Transport.
Transport Specialist Admin Clerk required skills:
*To use IT based systems in the effective performance of their role, including MS Office, systems provided by the customer and systems/portals used by suppliers
*Experience of overseeing the efficient handling of internal and external customer queries in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
*Ability to work individually under own initiative as well as within a team
Qualifications Required:
*Preferred experience within a transport office / planning function.
*Ability to provide accurate and timely statistical data / reports for external / internal customers (essential)
*MS Office use
*Knowledge of fundamental administration functions and disciplines
