Warehouse administrator

We are recruiting a Warehouse Administrator in Banbury, to work as part of a team providing general warehousing support, to ensure the smooth flow of product through the warehouse.

Responsibilites:

· Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety requirements are met:-

o Comply with H&S policy & standards

o Identify and report hazards, incidents and accidents

o Keep work area clean and tidy

· Respond to ad hoc customer enquiries on the phone and via email in a timely and professional manner.

· Quality checking packaging of stock coming in and out

· Check that allocations. Confirm that the pallet quantity of each allocation matches the expected pallet quantity indicated on the customer's email.

· Reply to the customer's emails confirming the actual pallet quantity of each allocation.

· Liaise with transport and update the operation where alterations to routes and picking deadlines have taken place.

· Respond to queries regarding picking issues, referring them to management or stock control where necessary.

· Carry out picking or inbound activities when dictated by operational requirements.

The ideal candidate:

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Experience of working in a complex, fast moving environment

· A standard level of numeric, literacy and IT skills

· Friendly and approachable

· Reliable, honest and committed

· Professional

· Ability to work under pressure and own initiative

· Attention to detail

· A flexible approach to work
