Class 1 Driver Wanted - Immediate Start

Gi Group are looking for experienced, Class 1 drivers for an ongoing position. This work requires a driver to be Cargo Operative trained, and this training can be provided upon starting the role. Our client, based in Marston Green, are a well-known player in transport and logistics industry. We are offering ongoing work for the right candidate, with a mixture of both AM & PM starts available to you. Please note - this role would be started subject to a successful interview.

Class 1 - Pay Rate:

· Days - £17.87 per hour inclusive of your holiday pay

· Nights - £18.41 per hour inclusive of your holiday pay

· £16.19 shift premium for each shift

· Average of 10 hours per shift

Class 1 - Job Details:

Day Shift

· Monday to Friday - no weekends required.

· 06:00-08:00am starts

· Average of 10 hours per shift

· Between 3-10 collections per shift.

· Weekly Pay - paid each Friday

· Realistic earning potential of £840.70 per week based on 50 hours

Night Shift

· Monday to Friday - no weekends required.

· 18:00pm starts

· Average of 10 hours per shift

· Up to 3 deliveries/collections per night.

· Weekly Pay - paid each Friday

· Realistic earning potential of £1,001.45 per week based on 50 hours

Job Requirements

· Class 1 Licence Entitlement with a minimum of 1 years' experience.

· Full CPC Training and a valid tachograph

· No major endorsements such as DR / DD / IN convictions.

· Previous cargo operative experience is preferred but not essential.

· You must be able to provide 5-years of work history

· Starting this role will be subject to passing a DBS Check.
