Production Operative
Pay: £16.29 per hour (weekly pay)
Shift Pattern: 5 on / 5 off → 5 on / 5 off → 4 on / 4 off
(Two consecutive weekends off per month)
Hours: 6am-6pm
Contract: Temp to Perm
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Almondsbury (BS32) (need to drive due to location of the site)
Production Operative Role Overview
We're recruiting Production Operatives for a busy brick manufacturing site in Almondsbury (BS32). This is a long‑term, temp‑to‑perm opportunity offering excellent weekly pay, structured 12‑hour shifts and full training. Ideal for candidates with experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, factory work or machine operation, but full training is provided.
Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative
- Operating production and manufacturing machinery safely
- Completing daily tasks and following production schedules
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality and efficiency
- Supporting improvement projects and general factory operations
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and hazard‑free
- Following workplace procedures and updating risk assessments
- Working as part of a fast‑paced production team
What We're Looking For in a Production Operative
- Reliable, punctual and safety‑focused
- Comfortable working in a production, warehouse or factory environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit and able to carry out hands‑on tasks
- Willing to learn, train and develop new skills
- Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation is beneficial but not essential
- Counterbalance FLT Licence would be an advantage
