Overview.

Raymond Brown Haulage Ltd are seeking skilled and experienced HGV C+E (Class-1) Drivers to join our team. As an integral part of our transport department, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across various locations.

Responsibilities:

•        Safely operate and drive HGV C+E vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations

•        Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road

•        Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness

•        Communicate effectively with the office team and report any incidents or issues that may arise during the transportation process

•        Maintain accurate records of hours driven, miles covered, and goods delivered

•        Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods to customers and maintain a high level of customer service at all times.

Qualifications:

•        Valid HGV C+E (Class-1) licence

•        Driver CPC qualification

•        Proven experience as an HGV C+E driver (ideal but not essential)

•        Clean driving record with no major offenses

•        Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and road safety regulations

•        Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must

•        Ability to work independently and in a team environment

•        Flexibility to work long hours and travel to different locations as we operate within the events industry so therefore start & finish times are varied.

Day-to-day:

•        Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform necessary maintenance.

•        Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods.

•        Communicate with the office team and customers to provide updates on delivery status as well as high standards of safety and professionalism while representing the company
