About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Setter Operator to join our established manufacturing team in Coventry. This is a permanent morning shift position offering stability, a supportive environment, and the opportunity to work with precision‑engineered components.

You will be responsible for setting and operating brake press machinery to produce high‑quality sheet metal parts, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Brake press setup and operation to meet production targets
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Performing quality checks and maintaining high standards
• Adjusting tooling and machine parameters for different materials and thicknesses
• Working collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Brake Press Setter/Operator
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Previous experience in sheet metal or fabrication environment preferred
