Gi Group is recruiting a Butcher for a new client in Gainsborough. This is a great opportunity for an experienced butcher looking for 25-30 hours per week, with potential to go permanent.

Butcher - Key Responsibilities

As a Butcher, your role will include:

• Preparing and cutting meat to a high standard (boning, trimming, slicing as required)
• Producing customer-ready cuts and supporting counter/display preparation (where applicable)
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety and cleanliness at all times
• Following HACCP and company processes to ensure full compliance
• Using knives and equipment safely and correctly
• Working as part of the team to meet daily production/quality targets

Butcher - Requirements

To succeed in this Butcher role, you should have:

• Previous experience as a butcher (shop or production environment)
• Confident knife skills and knowledge of meat preparation
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices
• Reliability, punctuality, and a team-focused attitude
