Production Operative at Harlow, Essex

We're recruiting a Production Operative to join our clients team who are a leading nationwide supplier of diesel and HVO fuels. You'll play a key role in ensuring fuel is stored, refined, and dispatched safely, supporting both depot-based operations and work at customer sites.

Location: Harlow, Essex

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Fuel management: Safely handle, process, and transfer fuels, biofuels, and related liquids
• Tank cleaning & maintenance: Support internal tank cleaning and fuel polishing activities, including at customer sites
• Quality & safety checks: Carry out standard quality, environmental and safety checks from start to finish
• Data recording: Accurately log data for processed fuel and cleaning operations
• Machine operation: Safely operate, monitor, and maintain production/manufacturing machinery and equipment

Key Requirements:

• Physical fitness: Able to carry out manual labour (tank cleaning can be highly physical)
• Safety compliance: Strong understanding of health & safety requirements, particularly around flammable/hazardous materials
• Attention to detail: Accurate with paperwork/data logs and able to follow SOPs precisely
• Flexibility: Willing to travel to varied customer sites across the UK; may include occasional overnight stays and shift pattern changes when required

Working Environment:

• Based at headquarters in Harlow with regular work at commercial sites across the UK
• Industrial/yard environments - PPE will be required at all times
