Warehouse Administrator (Order Processing)
Location: Horsham (onsite)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (38.75 hours per week)
Pay rate: £14.68 per hour
Contract: 12-months
We're recruiting a Warehouse Administrator to support a busy operational site by processing and managing customer orders. Reporting to the Order Processing Team Leader, you'll ensure orders are accurately created and approved on internal systems, with a strong focus on compliance, accuracy and meeting service expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and approve orders within a global order/project management system
- Ensure order details and associated paperwork are accurate and complete
- Work in line with SOPs, policies and Health & Safety standards (training provided)
- Support internal and external customer expectations through accurate, timely processing
- Monitor and work towards KPIs in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve queries and support workflow
- Maintain good housekeeping standards
- Identify and suggest process improvements where appropriate
- Support with ad-hoc administrative duties as required
What We're Looking For
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths, or equivalent experience
- Strong IT skills and confidence learning new systems
- Data entry experience with excellent attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate tasks effectively
- Comfortable working to targets/KPIs in a busy environment
Desirable:
- Experience in an operational / warehouse / distribution environment
- Exposure to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environments
