Freelance Telephone Interpreter (UK-Based, Work From Home)

A leading global language services provider is seeking experienced, UK‑based Interpreters to join its freelance telephone interpreting team. This fully remote role offers the chance to support NHS, healthcare, and public sector organisations while working flexibly from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate, confidential telephone interpreting via a dedicated app
  • Support communication between English and your second language
  • Provide a professional service to healthcare, public sector, and community clients

Candidate Requirements

  • Professional interpreting experience
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional language
  • UK-based with the right to work on a self-employed basis
  • Strong cultural awareness in both languages
  • Level 3 Community Interpreting Certificate or above (advantageous)
  • Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List check
