Injection Mould Setter (Permanent)

Pay: £19.00 per hour (DOE) + overtime at time and a half

Shifts: 3 days on / 3 days off - 3 nights in 3 nights off| 07:00-19:00, 19:00 - 07:00

We're recruiting an experienced Injection Mould Setter / Moulding Technician to join a successful manufacturing business in a fast-paced production environment. This is a permanent opportunity with long-term stability and overtime available.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out mould changes, machine set-up, and start-ups
• Set and optimise process parameters to maximise efficiency and product quality
• Monitor production performance and adjust settings as required
• Complete first-off inspections and routine quality checks
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and process issues; reduce downtime through effective fault-finding
• Complete production/quality documentation accurately
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and support continuous improvement across the department

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Injection Mould Setter (or similar set-up role)
• Confident with mould changes and process set-ups
• Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of injection moulding processes and quality standards

Desirable

• Scientific moulding / process optimisation knowledge
• Experience with automation/robotics
• Experience with Husky, Engel, Arburg, Battenfeld, Negri Bossi (or similar)
• Mechanical/Engineering qualification; Lean/CI exposure
