Warehouse Operative
Contract: Temporary
Location: Rugby, CV21
Shift: Monday - Friday Days: 40 hours per week
Pay: £14.02 per hour
A leading organisation within the energy/infrastructure manufacturing sector is looking for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to support daily stores and warehouse activities. This is a hands-on role focused on safe, accurate handling of parts and kits to keep manufacturing running to plan.
Key responsibilities: Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver
- Support daily warehouse operations: receiving, issuing and distributing purchased parts, manufactured parts and sub-assemblies.
- Pick/kit materials from pick lists and deliver to the shop floor to support manufacturing start dates.
- Receive and verify inbound deliveries against paperwork and goods receipts in SAP.
- Put materials away into correct stock locations and maintain accurate SAP records.
- Carry out cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy.
- Follow FIFO and ensure materials are stored safely, securely, and in good condition.
- Create Manufacturing Binders in SAP (production tags, BOMs, drawings, quality records).
- Maintain strong 5S standards and housekeeping.
- Flex to support additional tasks as business needs change.

Essential
- Experience warehouse operative
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- High ethical standards, good attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer literate: Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook
- Able to work as part of a team and unsupervised
Desirable: Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver
- Forklift experience (Reach & Counterbalance licences; B2 preferred)
- Crane licence preferred (training can be provided)
- SAP experience is desirable
