Job Title: HR Administrator

Contract: 12 month contract / Hybrid - 3 days onsite
Hours: 37 hours per week
We're recruiting an experienced HR Administrator to join a busy HR team supporting a public sector environment. This role offers varied HR admin exposure across the employee lifecycle, with a focus on accuracy, prioritisation, and strong customer service.
You'll be working across multiple HR workstreams (e.g., Learning & Development activity, employee records, and general HR administration), with the team rotating workload to align resources where needed.
Key responsibilities:
· Provide end-to-end HR administrative support across the function, including Learning & Development coordination and maintaining employee records
· Manage shared inboxes and respond to queries in a professional, timely manner
· Process updates to HR systems ensuring data integrity and adherence to guidelines and policies
· Support the team with rotating priorities, picking up tasks where demand is highest
· Organise and prioritise workload effectively, understanding what needs action first and why
· Liaise with internal stakeholders, always delivering a baseline level of customer service
Essential Criteria
· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy
· Experienced in an administrative role (not entry-level)
· Comfortable working in a team-based admin environment
· Confident managing inboxes, high volumes of tasks, and competing priorities
· Able to follow processes and guidelines to maintain compliance and data integrity
· Customer service mindset (baseline level)
Desirable
· Previous recruitment or onboarding administration experience
· CIPD Level 3
· Experience in the public sector (or highly regulated environments)
