Warehouse Administrator *4 on 4 off* at Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire

Pay Rate: £13.55 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, 06:00-18:00
Hours: 48 hours per set (12-hour shifts)
Contract: Ongoing / temp to perm (amend as needed)
Role Overview
We are recruiting a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to support daily warehouse operations by managing system updates, producing paperwork, and maintaining accurate stock and despatch records. This is a busy, hands-on admin role at the heart of the operation, working closely with warehouse supervisors and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete accurate data entry on WMS/warehouse systems (goods in, despatch, stock movements).
- Produce and manage warehouse documentation: pick lists, delivery notes, labels, PODs, despatch packs.
- Support stock control administration, including investigating discrepancies and assisting with stock checks/cycle counts.
- Liaise with warehouse team leaders, drivers, and customer service to resolve queries and keep activity moving.
- Monitor inbox/requests and ensure tasks are completed to deadlines in a time-critical environment.
- Maintain filing and compliance records in line with site procedures.
- Flag and escalate operational issues (shortages, missing paperwork, system errors) to the relevant team.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous admin experience in a warehouse/logistics environment preferred (or strong admin experience with fast-paced workflow).
- Confident with Excel and MS Office; experience using WMS/ERP systems is an advantage.
- High attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- Strong communication and ability to work with multiple teams.
- Ability to prioritise and stay calm under pressure.
- Willingness to work 06:00-18:00, 4 on / 4 off.
