Privacy Concerns
Unsolicited contact
We are aware of fraudsters approaching members of the public completely at random, often via WhatsApp, email, or LinkedIn, and purporting to be consultants from our organisation.
We’re genuinely sorry if you have been affected in this way. Please be aware that these individuals who have contacted you do not work for us or represent us in any way. We are investigating who they are with the appropriate authorities, including the ICO.
We would also like to reassure you that these messages are absolutely not the result of any access to our data.
Should you receive a call, email, or WhatsApp message purporting to be from our organisation that does not look right, please get in touch with us at: uk.privacy@gigroup.com
Be scam aware
Below are examples of how scammers may target you by pretending to be consultants from a recruitment company.
Remember, if you are in any doubt, or if you notice any of the behaviours below, please contact a Gi Group branch manager at any of our branches or contact us at uk.privacy@gigroup.com
Here’s what to look out for:
- Individuals claiming to be consultants who ask you for financial details, money, or the payment of a fee for any reason.
- Individuals claiming to be consultants who approach you in ways that simply do not feel right, such as a lack of contact information, fake-looking profile information, or correspondence that features poor spelling and grammar.
- Communications that guarantee an income or guarantee employment.
Please be aware

How to check our website is legitimate
- As fraudsters are becoming increasingly sophisticated, there have been instances where official websites have been cloned. To check whether a website is legitimate, please verify the SSL certificate by clicking the padlock on the far left of the URL. If this is not present, it could mean the website is fake.
