Celebrating 20 years of success at annual gala

Leading Gi Group owned Midlands recruitment agency, Encore Personnel, has celebrated the momentous achievements of its 200 plus staff at its 20th annual gala awards.

The past year has been one of the business’s most productive and challenging on record, which has seen Encore expand its Professional division as well as launch a new Maintenance Engineering division.

The annual awards, held at Birmingham Town Hall, were the opportunity to shine a spotlight on the hard work and dedication of all of Encore’s teams. Encore’s Directors handed out trophies in 14 categories including Outstanding Client Service, Outstanding Team Contribution and The Above and Beyond award, to teams and team members who had gone above and beyond in 2021.

Headquartered in Leicester, Encore has 10 branches in the Midlands, from which it supports many top organisations recruit for positions in engineering, manufacturing, driving, warehousing and professional services and help candidates gain the best roles in those sectors.

Managing Director, Pete Taylor, said: “Our annual awards gala has long been a milestone date in the diary, as we give hearty business-wide recognition to the success of our staff in front of their colleagues. Following the 2021 ceremony which had to be held virtually, we were delighted to be able have the entire business back at Birmingham Town Hall for 2022 to celebrate together in-person.

“It has been another challenging year for our staff with the country still in and out of lockdown and other industry challenges and our teams, as usual, have persevered and continued to provide an outstanding service to candidates and customers. The other Directors and I continue to be exceptionally proud of everyone at Encore and would like to thank every team for their determination not only over the last year but the past 20.

“As Encore continues to grow and flourish, year on year, it is becoming more and more important for us to reward, nurture and invest in our staff as they make Encore the award-winning agency we are. It is such a delight to see our shining stars rewarded for their hard work. With this being our 20th gala awards and the business also turning 20 this year, the ceremony was our biggest celebration to date.”
