Our Covid-19 Statement

At Gi Group the health, safety and wellbeing of all employees is our priority. Our primary aim is to ensure that our employees remain fit and healthy.

Throughout this COVID-19 pandemic, we have and will continue to take practical steps and introduce measures to safeguard the welfare of our employees, sub-contractors and clients. We will provide our workers with the latest advice and guidance on how they can keep themselves, their colleagues and their families safe through regular communication, as well as detailing where they can obtain further information.

In addition to Government guidelines, we continue to recommend:

• Regular handwashing and use of hand sanitiser
• Good ventilation of spaces
• Self-isolation at home if our employees develop COVID-19 symptoms
• Use of lateral flow tests

We are proud and grateful to all of our employees who have worked hard to allow many essential businesses and services in the UK to maintain operations throughout this pandemic.

As a business, we will monitor this ever changing situation closely; making any necessary changes to further protect the safety and wellbeing of our teams. We will adhere to the Covid secure measures implemented and conduct regular briefings and risk assessments to highlight, and reinforce, safe working procedures.

We will maintain availability of PPE, hand and general cleaning products to all our locations and for clear signage to be displayed to prompt good hygiene practices.

We are monitoring the situation on a daily basis and will implement any necessary changes based on the advice provided by the government, public health agencies and industry bodies.

We would again like to express our thanks to our employees, and to all the key workers across the country, who have and continue to make such an enormous contribution during these unique times.
