On June 11th 2018, Gi Group UK and BMW Group officially opened the new Recruitment Centre of Excellence at the MINI plant in Oxford.
Gi Group Chief Executive Bev White was in attendance as the new facility was unveiled – promising to elevate the candidate experience of those applying to work at the plant to new levels.
Gi Group is responsible for the recruitment of temporary employees for the MINI production line, with many having progressed to permanent employment and managerial roles with the BMW Group itself.
Bev White said: “The new Recruitment Centre of Excellence will help attract and engage candidates by showcasing the cutting edge, professional and inspiring organisation in which they will operate, manufacturing vehicles for the iconic MINI brand.
“Positioned alongside the vehicle assembly line, candidates will get a window in to the first-class environment they can expect if securing a role at the prestigious site while bespoke interview rooms also enable technical testing.”
“The joint development of the facility has further strengthened the relationship between Gi Group UK and BMW Group as we work together to build the future permanent workforce at the site.”
