Production Operative – Specials Department

Location: Almondsbury, Bristol (BS32)

Pay Rate: £13.76 – £15.82 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Reporting to: Specials Manager

What You’ll Be Doing as a Production Operative

  • Producing bespoke blocks and components to customer specifications
  • Transferring wet clay onto stillages
  • Building accurate brick firing stacks
  • Sorting fired bricks into customer-ready packs
  • Maintaining excellent health & safety and housekeeping standards

  • Counterbalance FLT licence
  • Any manufacturing or upskilling qualifications


Working Hours

Training Period (12–16 weeks)

  • Mon–Thu: 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • Fri: 7:30am – 3:00pm

Post‑Training Shift Pattern (Days Only)

  • 5 on / 5 off: 5:00am – 5:00pm
  • 4 on / 4 off: 5:00am – 5:00pm

These patterns provide excellent work–life balance while offering consistent, ongoing hours.
