Join a successful, family‑run engineering company in Andover as a Stores Operative. This is a hands‑on role with clear progression opportunities for reliable candidates with counterbalance forklift experience.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries safely using a counterbalance forklift
• Check goods-in against delivery paperwork
• Put-away, pick and transfer stock to departments, ensuring secure and safe storage
• Perform cycle counts and assist with stock accuracy initiatives, report discrepancies promptly
• Maintain a tidy, compliant stores area and follow site H&S procedures

Essential requirements

• Valid counterbalance forklift certificate and demonstrable operating experience
• Experience with goods‑in processes and basic use of a WMS
• Able to manually handle stock and work to operational schedules
• Reliable, team‑focused and quality‑driven
