We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a microbiology manufacturer whose products help make the world a healthier, cleaner and safer place.
As a Manufacturing Operator , you will work in a manufacturing environment producing and packaging products. You will join a fast-paced team and support all stages of the production process.
Manufacturing Operator Hours & Pay:
- Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
- Rotating shifts: 06:00-14:00 one week, 14:00-22:00 the next
- £13.46 per hour + 20% shift allowance
Manufacturing Operator Main Duties:
- Follow all health, safety and quality procedures.
- Report any unsafe or unethical practices immediately.
- Take part in daily team meetings.
- Work towards daily production targets and update your supervisor/manager.
- Update stock levels in SAP after completing tasks.
- Keep your training records up to date in the company system (MasterControl).
- Follow written instructions to complete batch records, print labels and use the correct materials and equipment.
Manufacturing Operator Skills & Experience:
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Able to record data accurately and use a computer, including email.
- Physically fit and able to lift multiple 25kg bags.
- Manufacturing experience is an advantage but not essential.
Manufacturing Operator Personal Attributes:
- Reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership for your work.
- Focused on quality, safety and doing the job correctly.
- Willing to learn, ask questions and suggest improvements.
- Customer-focused and aware of how your work impacts the end user.
