Supply Chain and Logistics Manager - Basingstoke
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000+ Excellent Benefits
Our client, a global leader in their industry, is seeking a skilled Supply Chain and Logistics Manager for their Basingstoke facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive operational efficiency and champion standards within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the UK supply chain strategy in line with global manufacturing/distribution models.
- Coordinate demand forecasting and supply planning for high-value and technically complex products.
- Ensure availability of parts to support customer OEM customer Production, uptime and customer SLAs
- Oversee European transport and third‑party logistics providers to optimise cost, reliability and delivery performance.
- Own logistics and supply chain cost performance within the UK entity
- Establish and track KPIs (OTIF, lead time, inventory turns, service level) Drive digitalisation and system integration to improve data visibility, reduce manual data handling and maximise ERP/planning system use.
- Ensure compliance with import/export, customs and trade controls; assess and mitigate supply and transport risks.
- Lead, coach and develop the supply chain & logistics team; work closely with Sales, Service, Finance and Customer Support in a matrix structure.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5+ years' operational supply chain experience with team leadership, ideally in high‑tech, electronics or capital equipment.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse processes, ERP systems, continuous improvement and budget/financial management
