Gi Group are looking for experienced class 2 drivers to join the team with a local food distribution company, delivering to a wide variety of restaurants, pubs and clubs across the country. Deliveries can include fresh and frozen meat and alcohol

Class 2 rates

·        £17.93 including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)

Class 2 shifts

·        01:00-03:00 starts

·        Monday to Friday, weekend shift may be available during peak times

·        10-12 hours on average

Class 2 role

·        3-11 drops per shift

·        Driver to load and unload with the help of a driver’s mate

·        Daily vehicle checks

·        Loads may contain alcohol

Class 2 requirements

·        In date, UK, class 2 licence with minimum 2 year’s experience

·        In date CPC and tacho

·        Over 25 for insurance purposes

·        Previous multi-drop experience preferred

·        Good customer service skills

·        Physically fit and comfortable with loading/unloading

·        Reliable, punctual, and professional

·        An assessment will need to be done prior to starting
