Class 2 Driver Job description

HGV 2 Driver required for a position with our well-known Haulage client delivering Palletised goods.

We have a prestigious company that has operated in the UK for many years, becoming a highly recognised and respected business within the Transport sector. 

Class 2 Driver About the job:

           3 - 8 drops per day of pallets.

           Use of PDA Machine is required.

           Handball maybe required from time to time.

           National & Local deliveries are expected.

           AM starts normally between 06:00 - 07:00 AM.

Class 2 Driver Requirements and skills:

• You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 2 (C) license, Driver CPC & DIGI Cards

• Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points. NB: no other endorsements / convictions are acceptable.

• Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, Upbeat, self-motivated and resilient – are welcomed in this role.

• Will have a minimum of 6 months Class 2 experience

• Able to work on tight schedule whilst maintaining high safety standards throughout.

• You must have good geographical knowledge.
