Our client, based in Gloucestershire, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Fitter to join their busy and growing team. This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone with generator/ diesel engine maintenance experience who enjoys working independently across customer sites.
The Role
As a Mobile Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining generators, units, and associated equipment at customer locations, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
You will be supplied with a company van and fuel card for commercial use. Occasional depot visits will be required to replenish van stock.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair generators, electrical systems, and diesel-powered equipment
- Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently and effectively
- Provide general maintenance and handyman support as required
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Deliver excellent customer service while working on-site
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience working with generators, electrical systems, and diesel engines
- Strong general maintenance and handyman skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads across multiple sites
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence
