Production Operative – Frozen Fish Factory
Location: LN7 6PX
Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm (No weekends)
PLEASE NOTE IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPROT (CAR/MOTORBIKE) TO GET TO THE LOCATION DUE TO NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
Overview:
We have immediate opportunities for Production Operatives to join our fast-paced frozen fish factory. This role is ideal for individuals comfortable with physical tasks and who can commit to early shifts with weekends off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing, labelling, and stacking frozen fish products according to specifications.
- Carrying out repetitive line work tasks and standing for long periods of time.
- Performing manuall labouring tasks
- Assisting in different departments (e.g., cutting room) as business needs dictate.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, following Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures.
Candidate Profile:
- Physically fit and able to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Positive work ethic; reliable and willing to support across different roles and departments.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous production or manual labour experience is beneficial but not essential.
