Manufacturing Technician (Laboratory Environment) - Church Stretton

£12.71 per hour | 18‑Month Contract | Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm | Full Training Provided

Start your career with a global leader in the life sciences and scientific manufacturing industry. We're looking for a Laboratory Operations Assistant to join our high‑performing team in Church Stretton, supporting the manufacture and testing of specialist chromatography products used worldwide.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for laboratory work, production technician roles, or an entry‑level position in scientific manufacturing. No previous lab experience needed - just enthusiasm and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and equipment for daily production
• Load chromatography columns and carry out routine QC testing
• Record all work accurately following SOPs and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment
• Perform basic equipment checks and calibrations
• Support continuous improvement and problem‑solving activities

Suitable commute from Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Telford, Craven Arms and surrounding areas
