Class 2 Driver - Rates of Pay:
* Monday to Friday - £16.81 per hour inclusive of your holiday pay.

Class 2 Driver - Shifts and Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* Start Times: 06:00 am
* 8 hours guaranteed per shift - average of 10-12 hours per shift

Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, Banbury, Southam, Kenilworth, Southeast Birmingham, Solihull
and the other surrounding areas)

GI Group are recruiting Class 2 Driver for a position with our client based in Coventry (CV4). The ideal candidate will be placed with our well-established client, who have operated in the area for many years. The Class 2 Driver will be placed on a temporary period between Monday to Friday - no weekends!

Class 2 Driver - The Role:
The Class 2 Driver will be completing multi-drop runs of building materials and equipment. Due to the nature of what you are delivering, full PPE must be worn including a hi-vis, steel toe cap boots and a hard hat. No handball is expected as part of this role, with all deliveries unloaded at the delivery point by FLT. This role can also include deliveries to city centres, so any interested candidate must be willing to drive in tight and congested spaces. The Class 2 driver must also always remain in contact with the transport office, so must have strong communication skills. This is a temporary transfer position and training will be provided on the job, offering ongoing work for the right candidate. The Class 2 driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.

The perfect candidate:
* Will hold a Class 2/LGV C licence entitlement with a minimum of 6 months XP
* Will hold a valid CPC and Tachograph
* Previous HGV work experience is essential
* Will be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes
* Will have strong communication and organisational skills
* Will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure
* Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication
skills and an attention to detail is essential
