Quality Technician – Faro Arm
Location: Coventry
Hours: 37.5 per week
Shift: Day shift

We are looking for a skilled, motivated, and detail‑driven Quality Technician to join our growing Quality function. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a precision engineering environment, supporting both current production and new model introduction through accurate measurement, inspection, and reporting.
As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring components and fixtures meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Completing daily first‑off and last‑off measurement reports
- Producing measurement reports for new product introductions
- Conducting capability studies and supporting product/process audits
- Operating FARO Arm and Absolute Arm systems using PolyWorks
- Creating and maintaining measurement programs
- Using precision tools such as height gauges, verniers, and micrometers
- Responding to measurement requests and supporting production lines
- Supporting fixture and part measurement reviews during NPI activities
- Participating in 8D investigations and driving quality improvements
- Ensuring documentation complies with relevant ISO standards
- Training and supporting other team members
- Communicating findings clearly across departments
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with FARO Arm / Absolute Arm and PolyWorks (desirable)
- Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to read complex engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, especially when summarising measurement data
- A proactive attitude towards problem solving and continuous improvement
- Background in precision engineering or a similar environment (preferred)
