Mon–Thurs: 07:30–16:00

Fri: 07:30–11:30

The Role

A well‑established design and manufacturing business based in Coventry is seeking an experienced Stores Operative to join their team immediately. This is a hands‑on role within a busy stores department, supporting production by ensuring all materials and components are accurately managed and readily available.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing inventory and maintaining accurate stock levels
• Recording incoming and outgoing parts using IT systems
• Signing in deliveries and booking out materials to production
• Ensuring all stock movements are logged correctly
• Using handheld devices, computers, and internal systems
• Keeping the stores area organised, tidy, and compliant with procedures
• Supporting wider operations when required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or inventory‑based role
• Confident using IT equipment and digital stock‑management tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
• Able to start immediately
