The Role
A well‑established design and manufacturing business based in Coventry is seeking an experienced Stores Operative to join their team immediately. This is a hands‑on role within a busy stores department, supporting production by ensuring all materials and components are accurately managed and readily available.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing inventory and maintaining accurate stock levels
- Recording incoming and outgoing parts using IT systems
- Signing in deliveries and booking out materials to production
- Ensuring all stock movements are logged correctly
- Using handheld devices, computers, and internal systems
- Keeping the stores area organised, tidy, and compliant with procedures
- Supporting wider operations when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or inventory‑based role
- Confident using IT equipment and digital stock‑management tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Able to start immediately
