Location: Crewe

Pay Rates:

• Standard: £12.21 per hour (rising to £12.33 after 12 weeks)
• Nights: £12.51 per hour (rising to £13.21 after 12 weeks)

Join our growing team as a Warehouse Operative/Parcel Sorter in Crewe. If you are reliable, hard-working, and enjoy variety in your work, we want to hear from you.

Role Overview:

• Accurately scan and sort parcels according to destination
• Build crates, palletise parcels, and ensure items are securely prepared for dispatch
• Support the safe, efficient operation of the warehouse as part of a collaborative team
• Utilise strong attention to detail and follow written instructions to achieve high standards
• Flexible shift patterns available, with variable start and finish times dependent on workload and parcel volumes

Key Requirements:

• Able to communicate confidently in both spoken and written English
• Capable of understanding and following scanning, labelling, and sorting instructions
• Physically fit to handle manual tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to working Sundays (our busiest day), with flexibility across all 7 days
• Reliable and punctual, with a positive approach to teamwork

Shift Patterns:

• Inbound: Start times between 11am – 2pm
• Twilight: Start times between 2pm – 5pm
• Nights: Start times between 8pm – midnight
• Days: Ad hoc, usually from 9am
• Shifts typically last 5–9 hours; longer hours may be required during peak periods.
• Due to the nature of the operation, start and finish times cannot be guaranteed in advance and will vary according to workload, so a flexible approach to working hours is required.
