Join Gi Group and support the manufacture of innovative biochemical products in a modern lab-based environment. We're recruiting a Manufacturing Technician to work with our client in Dartford DA2 on a temporary basis, with the potential for extension.

As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll work within a manufacturing laboratory, supporting Technicians with the day-to-day production of biochemical products. You'll operate semi-automated equipment, prepare equipment and packaging, and help maintain high quality standards while working at a steady pace.

Please note: the successful candidate will be required to complete a Standard and Basic DBS check. Gi Group is happy to support you with this process.

Manufacturing Technician Working hours:

· Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Manufacturing Technician Salary:

· £13.46 per hour

Manufacturing Technician - Key Responsibilities:

* Support the manufacture of intermediates and final products

* Operate semi-automated equipment (disk punching, dispensing, lidding and labelling)

* Prepare equipment and packaging items for production

* Manage inventory using SAP

* Ensure product quality and accurate completion of documentation

* Follow all quality, health & safety procedures and raise any issues to the Senior Technician or Team Leader

* Participate in continuous improvement (PPI) activities and carry out other reasonable duties as required

Manufacturing Technician Skills & Requirements:

* Keen eye for detail and accuracy

* Ability to work at pace while maintaining safe working practices and product quality

* Honest and open verbal and written communication

* Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment is beneficial but not essential

* Willingness to learn and follow established processes and procedures

* Basic DBS check
