Contract: 12 months
Full time - Monday to Friday (dayshift)
Join a team behind a world leading scientific company serving science solutions. As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll be working within a manufacturing lab, preparing reagents, intermediates and carrying out testing using standard operating procedures and production documentation ensuring they meet performance specifications and good manufacturing practice standards.
Manufacturing Technician Shifts:
* Monday to Friday
* 8am - 4pm during training (first 1-2 months)
* After training, flexible work hours between 6:30am - 5pm
Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities:
* Be responsible for manufacturing and testing of intermediates and final reagents.
* Handling of microorganisms
* Operation of equipment for use in production and assisting in the packing of intermediates.
* Be responsible for the quality of manufactured reagents, completed documentation and ensure quality standards are maintained.
* Management of stock levels for product ranges and comply with all SAP transactions on work performed and be responsible for controlling inventory.
* Raise any health and safety or quality issue to your Senior Technician and participate in PPI (continuous improvement) programs as required.
* Any other duties/projects as are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the post holder
Manufacturing Technician Required Skills:
* Experience working within a Lab (required), ideally with a degree in microbiology/biochemistry.
* Must have a keen eye for detail and quality control
* Be able to work at a fast pace whilst maintaining health, safety and quality standards.
