GI Group UK is recruiting for a Packaging Associate on behalf of our client in East Grinstead RH19 join the Microbiology Division to support daily production of Sensititre diagnostic products. You will work in a controlled clean area, helping to dispense, dry, pack and label plates and accessory products to required quality standards.
What we offer:
- £13.20 per hour.
- Fixed-term 9-month contract with induction and on-the-job training.
- Work in a regulated diagnostic manufacturing environment with clear quality processes.
Packaging Associate Working Hours:
- Week 1: Wed & Thu
- Week 2: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun
- Shift windows: 07:30-17:15 / 08:15-18:00 / 09:15-19:00
Packaging Associate Key responsibilities
- Operate dispensing and packing lines: feed, check and load plates; pack dried plates into foil pouches and box sales units.
- Assemble, bag or pack accessory items as required.
- Reconcile batch numbers, produce ID seals and maintain accurate production records.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance of clean room and packing areas.
- Follow cGMP, quality and health & safety procedures; report defects and non‑conformances.
Packaging Associate Requirements
- High School diploma / secondary education or equivalent.
- No prior experience required - training provided. Preferred: experience in manufacturing, production, laboratory or cGMP environments.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Right to work in the UK and availability for the rota shown.
- Basic DBS check.
