FLT Driver / Machine Operative
Location: Fishponds, Bristol
Hours: Rotating shifts (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm), Monday-Friday
Pay: £13.35 per hour
Contract: Full‑time, temp to perm

About the Role
A well‑established adhesive solutions manufacturing company in Fishponds is seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Driver / Machine Operative to join their production team. This role combines forklift operation with hands‑on machine and production duties, offering variety, stability, and long‑term progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move raw materials and finished goods
- Checking all materials and machine settings are correct for each production job
- Feeding materials into machinery and monitoring production processes
- Ensuring high‑quality standards on WIP rolls and finished rolls
- Running rewinder machines during staff breaks, holidays, or sickness cover
- Cleaning machinery and setting up materials for upcoming production runs
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Following all site Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Supporting general warehouse, production, and ad hoc duties as needed
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work
