Class 2 Driver - Burton

Gi Group are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to support the transport operation of a local, well known freight company. If you’re confident behind the wheel and adaptable to different routes, we’d love to hear from you.

Shift Details: 

·      Shifts available Monday to Friday

·      Pay rate: £14.00 per hour

What we're looking for: 

·      Category C License, DIGI and CPC card

·      12 months experience driving Class 2 vehicles

·      Clean driving licence record with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)

Role Accountabilities:

·      Safely delivering palletised loads to different locations

·  Be happy to drive a 7.5t vehicle as and when required

·      Ensure that the Company’s health and safety standards and practices are followed

Technical skills:

·      Able to follow instructions, work to deadlines independently

·      Be comfortable driving Class 2 vehicles in different sites

·      Computer literate, customer friendly and helpful at all times
