Driver - Ferrying/Discharge Work | Grimsby | £12.71-£14.97 per hour

GI Group UK is recruiting Drivers for ferrying and discharge operations with a leading automotive logistics client based in Grimsby.

Role Overview:

• Location: Grimsby
• Pay: £12.71 to £14.97 per hour shift dependant
• Type: ongoing, ad-hoc assignments
• Shifts can be between Monday to Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

• Ferrying: Relocating vehicles around the compound and transferring between compounds. No training required.
• Discharge: Driving vehicles off ships and relocating them safely within the Grimsby compound. Full training provided during the first two shifts.
• Transmissions: Vehicles on site will be a mixture of Automatic, Manual and Electric transmissions.

Requirements:

• Must hold a Full UK driving licence (category B)
• Licence held for minimum 12 months +
• Up to 3 points on licence, subject to endorsement code
• 22 years of age and over due to insurance
• Confidence driving various vehicles (Electric, manual and automatic)
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliability and flexibility
