Fish Factory Production Operative

We are recruiting reliable Production Operatives to join our busy fish processing team. This is physically active, fast-paced work on a production line. Previous production experience is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided.

Pay & Hours

• Rate: £12.71 per hour
• Shift patterns: Variety of shifts, 8-12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday
• Overtime may be available depending on operational needs

Key Duties

• Working on fast-paced production lines
• Packing, weighing and labelling finished products
• Sealing and final product checking for quality and presentation
• General manual labour tasks to support production
• Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene standards

Environment & Physical Requirements

• This role operates in a cold and wet environment typical of fish production. You must dress suitably for these conditions (warm, waterproof layers are recommended). PPE will be provided.
• The role involves standing for long periods, manual handling and repetitive tasks. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required.

Requirements

• No formal qualifications required
• Production experience advantageous but not essential
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a team
