Pay rate: £12.65 per hour

Contract: 12 months

Full time – Monday to Friday – Weekly Shift Rotation

Join a team behind a world leading scientific company serving science solutions. As a Materials Handler, you will join a great team and play a crucial role within the Lab.

Material Handler Shifts:

• Monday to Friday

• Rotation 1 – 08:00 to 16:00

• Rotation 2 – 09:30 to 17:30

Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Receive and unpack goods and book in all goods on a computer system.

• Locating bulk/pre-packs to relevant hazard warehouses

• Pick stock for repack orders and return any bulk returns to the accurate store location

• Cycle count locations as per work instructions

• Investigate and locate missing items

• Pick UK and Export shipments from relevant warehouses and report any items that do not appear acceptable

• Follow packing and labelling processes

• Handling of fine chemicals either in bulk or prepacks in accordance with CEM (Chemical Exposure Management)

• Maintain good stock levels of all consumables required in working areas and understand procedures for requisitions

Material Handler Required Skills:

• Great attention to detail

• Previous warehouse experience

• FLT Trained/Licence would be beneficial

• Ability to follow instructions without deviation

• Ensure full compliance with site security and health & safety policies
