Position Overview
My client is a world leading manufacturer, one of the most respected Scientific Research and Development Manufacturers in the industry, who gives their people the resources and opportunities to make significant contributions to the world. They are now looking for a Document Controller in their Manufacturing/Warehouse Facility environment based at Inchinnan.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling documents, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our documentation processes and supporting various departments within the organisation.
Initially a 6‑month term temporary position but with a view that the position may become permanent.
Position Offers
• Pay: £12.65 per hour
• Term: 6 months temporary
• Working day: 8 hours, dayshift 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
• Break: 1 hour (split 30 minutes paid, 30 minutes unpaid)
• Holidays: 28 days increasing to 33 days per annum
• Free parking
• Subsidised canteen
• Training and career development
Key Responsibilities
• Document Distribution: Facilitate the distribution of documents to relevant departments.
• Releasing Batches: Release scheduled batches to production, ensuring all paperwork is correct and cross‑checked against the released batches.
• Batch Completions: Ensure all batches produced are accurately completed to stock and that all materials used in production are allocated correctly to each batch.
• Run Regular Reports: Ensure all reports are run accurately to facilitate correct stock accuracy and integrity.
Suitable Candidate Qualifications and Skills
• SAP/Oracle experience within a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• General computer skills, including Excel, Word and PowerBi.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Stable work history.
• Enthusiastic, can‑do attitude, good communicator and attention to detail.
• Initiative and awareness.
