Position Overview
My client is a world leading manufacturer, one of the most respected Scientific Research and Development Manufacturers in the industry, who gives their people the resources and opportunities to make significant contributions to the world. They are now looking for a Team Leader n their Manufacturing/Warehouse Facility environment based at Inchinnan.
Initially a 6‑month term temporary position but with a view that the position may become permanent.
Position Offers
• Pay: £18.46 per hour
• Term: temporary to permanent, transfer around 5-6 months
• Working day: 8 hours, dayshift 7:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Break: 1 hour (split 30 minutes paid, 30 minutes unpaid)
• Holidays: 28 days increasing to 33 days per annum
• Free parking
• Subsidised canteen

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of 5–15 manufacturing operators within a cleanroom production environment.
- Drive a strong safety-first culture, ensuring full compliance with GMP, PPE and cleanroom requirements.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, one-to-ones, and development planning to build capability and succession strength.
- Coordinate daily production activities to meet output, efficiency and quality targets.
- Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues, leading structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve issues and optimize performance.
- Ensure accurate completion of manufacturing documentation and batch records in line with regulatory standards.
- Promote a culture of engagement, teamwork and accountability across the department.
Suitable Candidate Qualifications and Skills
- Proven people management experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech or other regulated industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams of 5–10 employees.
- Strong working knowledge of cGMP, ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Experience driving performance through coaching, engagement and accountability.
- Experience with manufacturing documentation and batch record systems.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
