Landscape Foreperson
£14 - £15 per hour
Andover outskirts (own transport essential)
Temporary to Permanent Monday to Friday 8:00am - 16:30pm

Do you enjoy working in an outdoors environment? Do you enjoy being active, working in a role where no two days are the same? We are currently supporting our client to expand their team. Due to increased contracts/ new business. They are currently looking for 2 forepersons to lead their team's projects. Our client is a very well established family run business, who have been running since 1970. They have seen year on year growth and therefore offer a real opportunity for progression. If you are successful in passing probation with our client you will benefit from the following :

* Overtime available (1.5 x at weekends)

The Role:
* You will be leading a team on various projects. Responsible for the installation and running of a variety of commercial,
private or maintenance landscaping projects
* Ensuring compliance with industry and company health and safety procedures
* Reading plans, ensuring projects are completed in line with specification and to standard
* Liaising with Line Manager and office staff on the day to day running of projects, informing of potential needs and any
problems, such as materials running low
* Due to the nature of the job you also be liaising with clients from time to time

Experience Required:
* Team Leader/ supervisory experience (various backgrounds will be considered)
* Working under your own initiative
* Excellent communication skills (able to deal with both colleagues and clients)
* Must be physically fit
* Full driving licence

It would be advantageous to have:
* Previous landscaping/ construction experience
* Valid SSSTS Card
* Other landscaping tickets desirable
